Still mind with meditation

Chaos may surround you. Negativity may spring from every mouth. Bothersome distractions may encircle you. The acts of others may threaten and disturb you. There is but one refuge. It is always available.

Be still and turn inward. Allow the world to tumble down around you. Seek your wordless, silent center. Take direction from the intelligence within. The same intelligence that causes the planets to orbit and the rose to bloom, can direct you as well. Separate yourself from the demands of your ego and instead be inner directed. Go within. Be without.

Meditate daily and carry this highly tuned awareness into a turbulent world. Witness all that occurs on the outside but remain untouched, unfazed.

Your ability to remain centered and balanced will improve each time you are able to face an emotionally charged situation and view the event objectively. This objectivity will be cultivated through regular meditation.
