If you need something; ask for it. If you desire something; seek it. If your intent is pure; you will receive it, though maybe not in the way you planned. If you are able to give it away as readily as you receive, you’re that much closer. It’s in the bag.
So before you desire, are you able to let go? What is faith? The dictionary says: 1) Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing. 2) Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. 3) Loyalty to a person or thing; allegiance: keeping faith with one’s supporters. 4) The theological virtue defined as secure belief in God and a trusting acceptance of God’s will. 5) The body of dogma of a religion: the Muslim faith. 6) A set of principles or beliefs.
I say faith is the assumption of an outcome regardless of historical precedence or probability. And ultimately this outcome rests outside yourself doesn’t it? So what drives your faith? And who are “Ye of little faith”? Is it you and I? What does it take to move beyond this familiar group? Grace. Got it? Need it? It’s hardly in the bag.
Be careful with this one. If you need grace; ask for it and wait. If you desire geace; seek it and wait. If your intent is pure, have faith and maybe just maybe you will receive it.
