Still your mind:

Once seen; maybe not what seemed

This won't be news to you. Not at all revolutionary. Things are not always what they seem.

Carried by a roller coaster of thoughts or desires that have their own agenda, we may arrive at a destination different from the one we thought we chose. Finding ourselves farther from who we are. Instead of insight, we begin looking outward for clues back home.

Conversely (and gladly), if these thoughts or desires carry the fabric of our inner vision, then we may be brought to never imagined fulfillment and joy.

How are we to determine to which to respond? By being still. Real still. Then ever stiller. We then go to our beginning. We find our center from which all branches out. The core of our being.

In this stillness, there is no place for the inauthentic to hide. Like the sun shines on "the morning after the night before", there is not a motive nor a consequence that isn't revealed to the sincere seeker.

Examine your motives. Loosen your pride. Fear not. There is no need to pretend or uphold falseness. Come home. No longer be a stranger in your own skin. Don't judge the less than pure you may witness. Just see clearly. Possibly for the first time. There is yet time. Your moment(s) of truth. There is no drama here. There is only what is. See it.

Once viewed however, there are clear choices. You can choose to respond in habitual ways or choose to be aware of the moments which no longer 'fit' the real you and respond courageously in truth. Either way, once motives are clearly witnessed; you will never be the same. Count on it as like the sun rising.

This process is not for the faint of heart or those who wish to insulate themselves from reality. It is for a true heart that desires to understand themselves and others. To grow and allow for the growth of others. To love themselves as well as others.

Choose wisely your weapons to combat this life's hypnosis. In each moment, there is another opportunity to touch the heart of the matter. Your matter. You matter. Let the outer world see all that you are. Both the changeless and the part that flickers a while longer. Let your inner world embrace the wonders your journey brings.
