Hostile environment?

    Sometimes it may seem as if your environment is hostile and uncaring. Everything seems to conspire against you. The alarm clock malfunctions, the toast burns, the button pops from your clothing, there is not a cab in sight and so on.

    I want you to consider your role in this environment. You will discover in a short time that if you diligently practice the morning meditation found here, your environment will actually be friendly.

    You may not even need an alarm clock, you will sense the toast is about to burn, and you would have previously become aware of the loosened button and looked after it already. Everything will flow smoothly from the morning onward and the cab will be grabbed. You may even decide to take a walk instead!

    The awareness level you will develop as you continue the meditation process will astound you. You will identify potential problems before they occur. Even if you choose to ignore the signal, when the problem does emerge, you will deal with it calmly, further strengthening your resolve.
